Would I benefit from a gluten and or dairy free diet?
You may wonder if you’re eating something that doesn’t agree with you, which is making you feel overly full, bloated, tired, achy, constipated, making your skin conditions worse or even nauseous.
There are many reasons why the food you're eating isn't right for you and one of those reasons could be food intolerances. The most common food intolerances include dairy (especially cow's milk and cheese) and gluten from wheat and other sources.
Finding out your exact food intolerances can be done by taking a functional food intolerance test. Whether or not this is necessary will depend on your health history and symptoms, which can be discussed during a natural medicine appointment.

Going gluten Free & Dairy Free
Going GF & DF doesn't mean you have to miss-out on your favourite recipes. Even though to some people it may initially seem daunting, these days there are so many gluten and dairy alternatives available from our local supermarkets including coconut cheese, coconut yoghurt, even GF & DF chocolate and ice-cream for the occasional treat. It's just about reading labels and knowing which isle to look in. I find the health food section of any supermarket is a great place to start.
I've included some of the brand images of products I regularly buy for my own family as alternatives to gluten and dairy containing products.
In addition, I always buy lot's of fresh organic vegetables and fruits, as well as organic protein sources such as meats, salmon, chicken, pork, eggs etc.
